Manual fans beware. You may find this news tragic. It has recently come to our attention that the future of manual gearboxes in brand-new BMW models may be a dim one. The company's M division head honcho Frank van Meel recently revealed the German carmaker could begin to shy away from manual models down the line and shift to automatics. If this plan is carried out, this could lead to sad days for stick shift fans across the world.

German graffiti artist Rene Turrek recently made a brand-new BMW X6 a whole lot cooler by turning it into an artistic masterpiece. Using a special type of paint, Turrek was able to transform what naturally appears to be a typical blue X6 model into a one-of-a-kind work of art thanks to a hidden creation right underneath its paint job.

Rumor has it that BMW is currently prepping the launch of a brand-new i8 model that could debut on the market as early as 2016. Recent rumors have begun to arise claiming BMW is interested in making a 2 Series Gran Coupe. German magazine Auto Motor Und Sport is the latest publication to release reports about the four-door, rear-wheel-drive Coupe and its future on the market.

An all-new BMW 3-Series is slated to debut in 2018 with innovative technology and additional power. Reportedly codenamed G20, the 3-Series is currently in development, according to Car magazine, and will feature more quality materials, expressive characteristics and a strong visual appeal. It’s also expected to weigh much less than the current 3-Series and deliver a premium, upscale experience BMW enthusiasts will find enjoyable.

BMW's highly anticipated i Remote app has finally been made available to all Apple Watch users. Built exclusively for BMW i3 and i8 models, the unique app allows owners of the high-end hybrid cars to utilize certain functions while away from their cars and receive up-to-date vehicle information. Available through Apple iTunes, i Remote is a free app Apple Watch users can download now and take advantage of.

We still have a few more months before the BMW 7 Series lands on the market, but that hasn't stopped the automaker from giving fans a glimpse of what's to come when the vehicle arrives. BMW expects the next-generation luxury sedan to set new benchmarks with its brand-new features, especially its innovative, next-level technology systems, which will improve the overall driving experience.
