It's been over a year since BMW confirmed they would be developing an all-new X7 crossover, and as the project continues to gain steam, more rumors have been traveling around regarding its design. The luxury SUV, which will serve as BMW's flagship model, is said to take styling cues from the brand's Vision Future Luxury Concept, a car that originally debuted at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.

Since news got out about the creation of the BMW X7, people have been talking about what we can expect to see when it lands on the market. There's no doubt the seven-seater will be a monstrous vehicle packed with a variety of high-end amenities and innovative technologies, but is there truth behind the rumor claiming it will borrow styling from the Vision Future Luxury Concept? We don't know for sure, but if reports prove to be true, the X7 will sport details reminiscent of the concept on its front end, a large kidney grille and standard 19-inch wheels. Aside from being fitted with seven seats, buyers will also have the chance to slim the car's accommodations down to five or four seats in an effort to better suit their individual needs.

Considering no official news has been released about the upcoming X7's design, we’ll have to wait to find out if the SUV takes inspiration from the Vision Future Luxury Concept. However, while you wait, you can take a look at our current selection of SUV models at Reliable BMW.
