Following much anticipation, BMW has finally released information regarding the upcoming 2016 M2 model and it’s nothing shy of impressive. According to the brand, the M2 can complete the famed Nürburgring race course faster than the E92 M3, which is something longtime fans won't be disappointed by. Take a look at the video below to see just how well the M2 performs on the track, alongside its two ancestors: the 1 Series M Coupe and E30 M3.
The 2016 BMW M2 is destined to be a success when it debuts on the market during the spring of 2016. With the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds with the optional dual-clutch automatic and complete the Nürburgring in 7:58, the coupe is a high-performance luxury car that fits nicely into BMW's M lineup. Equipped with a 3.0L inline-six, generating 365 horsepower and 343 lb.-ft. of torque, along with a standard six-speed manual, Michelin Super Sport tires, 19-inch forged wheels and an active rear differential, the M2 is ready to take on the open road. Be sure to look out for the model’s arrival at Reliable BMW during the spring and don’t hesitate to take it for a quick test drive.
