It's astounding to think that the BMW M5 first went into production 30 years ago, and it's even more impressive when you take a look back and see how far it's come. BMW is especially honored by the M5's success, and to celebrate its 30th birthday, they have a special surprise in the works for M5 fans. Through their very own M Power blog, BMW will start out by going through the history of each M5 model, and by the end, they will reveal their big secret.

Rumors have been swirling about the production of a BMW crossover for quite some time now, and just recently, it was confirmed that the German automaker does have plans to create one. The flagship crossover is said to be called the X7 and it will be built right here in the U.S. at their Spartanburg, SC plant.
