BMW Manufacturing Continues to be the Largest Automotive Exporter by Value in the United States 
Data from the U.S. Department of Commerce in February confirmed that BMW Manufacturing led U.S. automotive exports by value in 2024. The Spartanburg plant in Spartanburg, NC, shipped nearly 225,000 BMW Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes with a total export value exceeding $10 billion. Since 2014, this plant has exported over 2.7 million BMWs, which accounts for roughly 63 percent of its overall production. The combined export value of these vehicles is more than $104 billion.
