BMW's entrance into the electric vehicle and hybrid markets has been a successful one, with the launch of two lavish, fuel-efficient models: the BMW i3 and i8. Since their arrival in 2014, each car has been praised for its performance and fuel economy, but even though they're hot commodities, BMW has confirmed we won't see a third model added to the i roster until 2020.
Following months of anticipation, the Apple Watch is finally set to debut on the market on April 24, and when it does, BMW's i Remote will be the first car app compatible with the smartwatch. The easy-to-use app, which gives BMW i3 and i8 owners the ability to check on the status of their car while on the go, will serve as a great addition to the Apple Watch, jump starting the integration of cars and smartwatches.
