What Are the 2025 X5 Trims & Features?

The BMW X5 lineup features four trim levels. The base model, the sDrive40i, comes with standard rear-wheel drive and impressive features and amenities. This trim includes LED headlights with automatic high beams, 20-inch wheels, and heated, power-folding side mirrors. A Sky Lounge Panoramic Roof, keyless entry, and push-button start ignition are also standard. The sDrive40i features synthetic leather upholstery, heated and power-operated front seats, a leather steering wheel, and dual-zone climate control. Customizable ambient lighting enhances the cabin's upscale feel. Technology-wise, the sDrive40i offers a wireless device charger, navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 10-speaker sound system.

The next trim, the xDrive40i, includes all the features of the sDrive40i but adds standard all-wheel drive instead of rear-wheel drive.

The top-tier M60i trim includes 20-inch wheels, rear-wheel steering, a sport-tuned suspension, a unique steering wheel, an exhaust system, and specialized brakes.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain offers up to 483 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, providing up to 40 miles of electric range.
