What Are the 2025 X1 Trims & Features?

There are two trim levels available in the 2025 X1 range.

The entry-level model is named the xDrive28i. Much like the higher-end option, it comfortably seats five passengers. It comes with a variety of safety and infotainment systems, such as integrated navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 10.7-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and ambient interior lighting. The base model also offers dual-zone climate control and heated front seats for superior comfort, while the standard power liftgate ensures safer and easier loading and unloading. On the outside, it boasts a refined design complete with 18-inch wheels.

The second trim in the lineup is the M35i xDrive. This variant upgrades to 19-inch wheels and features an enhanced braking system highlighted by blue brake calipers. It also includes adaptive headlights. Additionally, adaptive suspension dampers provide the M35i with a smoother ride and improved handling. A wireless charging pad and a Harman Kardon sound system are standard additions inside.

Both trims offer a range of packages, including extra features like a panoramic sunroof, an automated parking system, an interior camera, and distinctive styling accents inside and out. Remote engine start is available for both models, with the M35i offering sporty seats as an option, while the base model can be equipped with a trailer hitch.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 X1 Have?

The base trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The higher trim features a specially tuned engine that delivers up to 312 horsepower. Both have all-wheel drive as standard and an automatic transmission.

What Safety Features Does the 2025 X1 Include?

The 2025 X1 comes standard with parking sensors, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking. The top trim also offers an optional Driving Assistance Plus package, which adds adaptive cruise control and a lane-centering system.
