What Are the 2024 2 Series Trims & Features?
There are four trims available for the 2024 BMW 2 Series.
The entry-level trim is the 230i. This version lets you choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, paired with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. The 230i offers a premium interior with a quiet, comfortable ride, featuring supportive, ergonomically designed seating. It also includes an 8.8-inch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A subscription-based WiFi service is available. Standard across the lineup are steering wheel-mounted controls and voice recognition.
The 230i xDrive is identical to the 230i but comes with all-wheel drive as standard.
Next up is the M240i, which comes with a more powerful engine for faster acceleration. It also has more available packages, like the Dynamic Handling package and the M Sport package, which add features like 19-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspension, larger tires, upgraded brakes, and an electronic rear differential. This trim also offers an optional head-up display and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. A Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers is available for those seeking enhanced audio.
The M240i xDrive shares all the features of the M240i but adds all-wheel drive.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 2 Series Have?
The 2024 2 Series offers two engine options. The 230i is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 255 horsepower, and the M240i trims are equipped with a turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder engine that generates 382 horsepower.

The 2024 2 Series is equipped with several advanced safety features. Blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, self-parking assist, and adaptive cruise control are standard.
