The i5 comes in two trims.
The base trim, known as the eDrive40, is packed with features. The seats are made of plush synthetic leather, with both front seats offering power adjustment for ease of use. The eDrive40 also includes dual-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay for smartphone integration. It features a digital instrument cluster and a large 14.9-inch infotainment display screen. Additionally, the eDrive40 includes standard tech features like a wireless charging pad and built-in navigation. The model is equipped with a premium B&O sound system as well.
The higher trim, the M60, offers even more. This top-tier version includes heated front seats, enhanced brakes, and an adaptive sport-tuned suspension. The M60 also features a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
Optional features and packages are available for the i5, including the Luxury Seating and Convenience packages, which add more comfort to the interior. The Driving Assistance Professional package brings advanced safety technologies, while the M Sport package offers a more athletic exterior.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 i5 Have?
The base eDrive40 model has a single electric motor generating 335 horsepower and rear-wheel drive. The M60 trim includes a second electric motor, boosting output to 593 horsepower. This version also comes with all-wheel drive as standard. The i5's electric range is estimated between 240 and 295 miles.
