What's New for the 2024 BMW 7 Series?
The 7 Series is a newer addition to the BMW lineup but has already established itself as a standout vehicle. It's a luxury electric sedan equipped with all the features expected of a BMW, along with an impressive electric range. Though the 7 Series was only introduced in 2023, the 2024 model receives updates, including an upgraded infotainment system, a plug-in hybrid option, and available all-wheel drive.
2024 7 Series Trims & Features
The base trim, the 740i, comes standard with adaptive LED headlights and 20-inch wheels. Inside, you'll find a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, soft-close doors, and leather upholstery. The cabin features four climate control zones and multi-color ambient lighting. The standard audio setup is an 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument panel, and a wireless smartphone charging pad are included, along with navigation and a 14.9-inch touchscreen.
The 750e xDrive, the next trim level, adds a different electric motor, standard all-wheel drive, and roughly 35 miles of electric range.
At the top of the line, the 760i xDrive also includes all-wheel drive, an upgraded engine, and ventilated front seats in the interior.
2024 7 Series Horsepower
The base model is powered by a turbocharged 3.0L engine, generating 375 horsepower. This trim has rear-wheel drive as standard, though all-wheel drive is an option. It also features an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The second trim level adds a more powerful electric motor to the base engine, delivering 483 horsepower and extended electric range. All-wheel drive is standard.
The top trim has a robust V8 turbo engine that produces 536 horsepower, and like the second trim, it comes exclusively with all-wheel drive.
2024 7 Series Safety Features
Standard safety features include blind-spot warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, parking sensors, and an automated parking system. The available Driving Assistance Professional package adds even more safety technologies.
