Available Trims and Features

Each trim has the option of the Technology + Driving Assistant package which includes a widescreen display with an advanced navigation system and forward collision warning with automatic braking. Another additional package is the Parking Assistant bundle with features such as a rearview camera, front parking sensors and automated parking. There are also several stand alone features that can be added to each trim such as upgraded interior upholstery and an upgraded sound system.

Eco-Friendly Power and Performance

The 60 Ah contains an electric motor fed by a 22-kilowatt hour battery that has a range of about 81 miles. Both the base and Range Extender trim have a 33-kWh battery with an estimated range of 114 miles. The Range Extender also includes s 0.6-liter two-cylinder engine. The powerplant adds weight to the i3, causing the electric range to reduce to 97 miles.

Safety Specs

The 2017 BMW i3 in Springfield comes standard with several safety features. Each trim includes front side-mounted air bags and front and rear head airbags and rear parking sensors. Additional safety features, such as forward collision warning, front parking sensors and rearview camera, can also be equipped to each i3.
