The powerplant is standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission, but buyers can opt for a six-speed manual. Each of these transmission options is also offered on the M235i model, which comes equipped with a 3.0L inline six-cylinder, outputting 320 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque.
