An all-new BMW 3-Series is slated to debut in 2018 with innovative technology and additional power. Reportedly codenamed G20, the 3-Series is currently in development, according to Car magazine, and will feature more quality materials, expressive characteristics and a strong visual appeal. It’s also expected to weigh much less than the current 3-Series and deliver a premium, upscale experience BMW enthusiasts will find enjoyable.
If rumors prove to be true, the BMW 3-Series will take its place on the market with an updated braking system, a new infotainment system with gesture control and voice activation, an available heads up display, a power kit and a remote-controlled parking feature. Its signature 3.0L V6 will also produce an additional 30 horsepower and 20-lb.-ft. of torque. The M3 and M4 models will receive a hike in horsepower, too, and are expected to produce at total of 500 horses. In addition to this, the BMW 3-Series will gain two plug-in hybrid models for the 2018 model year, with one delivering a 30-mile driving range and the other delivering a 50-mile driving range. No other information about the new 3-Series has been provided at this time, but if you want to check out the current 3-Series before the new one arrives, head over to Reliable BMW for close-up look.
