The all-new BMW safety car slated to debut in MotoGP is none other than a menacing, black M4 Coupe. Dramatic in appearance, the incoming safety car is a far stretch from the past cars BMW has designed for the championship, which were primarily white with multi-color stripes. New key features have also made their way onto the safety coupe for 2015, improving its capabilities and overall performance.

BMW's inner dark side shines through with the latest M4 Coupe safety car. The black model sports an aggressive appearance that is accentuated by BMW M Performance aerodynamic kit, a BMW M Performance all-black grille, BMW M Performance side skirts, a carbon spoiler and LED lights on the roof and front of the vehicle. In addition to these beneficial features, the M4 is the first BMW M model to come equipped with water injection. The system works by spraying water into the intake module’s collector, which cools the exhaust air, and gives the car's twin-turbo inline six-cylinder the ability to operate with an earlier ignition point and higher charging pressure. Check out the video below to see how the system works and make sure to look for the new safety car on the racetrack this season.
